This is the Place and the Zoo!

Ok, so I've been slacking on the blog lately (and getting crap about it from the parentals) so here is an update.

On the 15th we went with Brian's side of the family to This is the Place Monument for a Pack family reunion. It was a very cold day, but it was FUN! Here are some pictures:

Happy Anniversary

To my best friend,
Happy 6th Anniversary! Thank you for all you have given me. Thank you for your strength, for your humility, for your patients, and your love. Thank you for being such a wonderful father to our children. Thank you for asking me to be your wife. I love you more today than I ever thought possible.

Hair Cut

So this past weekend while out and about 3 different people commented on what a cute baby girl we had (Carson.) Fully dressed in boyish cloths I couldn't imagine what people were thinking. Then on Sunday a nice man in our ward asked when we were going to cut Carson's hair. I have been telling people for a while that he is just like Samson; and if we cut his hair bad things will start to happen. Well, I caved! And on Tuesday I. Cut. His. Hair. I know, all those curls....gone! I must admit that I miss them. He looks adorable now (much more like Brian,) but he looks too grown up. Here is a picture of the new do. Let me know what you think.

Enough for Locks of Love?

So yesterday I wanted to do something fun and for the kids, so I called my friend Alicia to see if she and her kids wanted to come to the Treehouse Museum with us. They did, and we all had SO much fun! Here are some pictures from the day:

Grandma Pack's 89th Birthday Party and a Suprise

This past Saturday we went up to Logan to celebrate Brian's grandma Pack's 89th birthday. We left early in the morning even though the party wasn't until 5:00 that night. Brian had a surprise for me. On the way up we stopped in Brigham city for "lunch." Brian asked if I wanted to stop and get a bite to eat since it was about lunch time. We drove through BC (passing a ton of restaurants) to main street. I figured he knew where he was going. He told me he wanted to go to a specific place but that he forgot where it was. His uncle Steve has a jewelry store on main and so he said we should just stop and ask him where the restaurant was. I believed him. When we went inside he turned to me and said pick what you want. I was so shocked and unprepared... anyway I was able to pick out a nice wedding band to go with my wedding ring. It was a very pleasant surprise.

When we finished in BC (we really did get something to eat after the jewelry store) we headed up to Logan. We relaxed at Brian's parent's house for a while until it was time to go to the party. Abby loved watching Mama Mia (good music...terrible story line!!) Carson, luckily, went down for a good nap, and had fun playing with grandpa.

We had Grandma Pack's party at the Coppermill restaurant (YUMMY.) There were quite a few people there and I forgot to bring our nice camera so sorry for the poor quality of these pictures; they're from my phone.

One of the cutest, sweetest, most loving, giving, kind people I know: Grandma Pack (this was taken near the end of the party and she was WORN OUT!)

Our family minus Grandpa Rod (Brian's dad), Uncle Jared (Angie, Brian's sister's, husband), and Andelen (SP?? Spencer, Brian's brother's, fiance)

Abby and her cousin Dani had a ton of fun together!

Canyon Picnic

So last week on Wednesday we decided to head up Farmington Canyon for a dinner picnic. It was a lot of fun. Abby and Carson had a blast. Cars got the dirty in record time. He loved exploring and didn't even care when he fell. He loved being able to climb up on the picnic bench and stand to the table to eat. Abby decided after seeing the available bathrooms that she didn't really need to go potty. :) She wouldn't even go NEAR the fire or taste the s'mores (crazy girl.) When we were getting everything packed up she started circling the picnic table and singing an Abby original about how she didn't like anything; it went something like this: "I don't like the fire or the table or the dirt and the potty is blaaaaaahhhhhh, I don't like hot dogs or snores (aka s'mores)" She went on and on and on about how she didn't like anything. It was so funny.

Carson's hand about 3 minuets into the experience:
